For a country with millions of .co.uk and .uk registrations, that is a strange way to run a market. Britain deserves a proper saleroom for its domains.
So we built one. UK Domain Auctions puts .co.uk and .uk names under the hammer in public, on a published schedule, with real bidders and real results. Every domain is checked before it reaches the catalogue, every bidder is verified before they can raise a hand, and every sale is settled through independent escrow. It is the oldest idea in commerce — an open auction — applied to the newest kind of property.

UK Domain Auctions is a trading name of a company registered in England and Wales. The company number and registered office shown on this page are illustrative placeholders — company no. 00000000, registered at 1 Example Street, London — while the site is in build. Our confirmed registration details appear on your order at checkout and are available on request.
Every sale settles through an independent escrow provider. The escrow agent holds the buyer’s funds — we never touch them — and releases payment to the seller only once the domain is confirmed in the buyer’s registrar account. If a transfer fails, the funds go back to the buyer. You can read the full sequence on our escrow page.
We are not Nominet, and we are not your registrar. Nominet is the official registry for .uk domain names; we are an auction house that sells them. Every .co.uk and .uk transfer we handle runs through Nominet’s registrar system, under Nominet’s rules.
